Mana Education is working with schools across Northampton and Northamptonshire to recruit experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who want to help every child reach their potential.
We offer a variety of roles across both primary and secondary settings – from daily supply to long-term or permanent assignments.
As a SEND / SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech or sensory challenges.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils access learning in a supportive way.
- Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to deliver effective interventions.
- Promote inclusion and help pupils develop confidence, independence and emotional regulation.
- Foster a safe, caring and engaging classroom environment.
🎓 About You
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in special education or relevant qualifications such as:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning
- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH in a school setting
- Additional training such as Team Teach, PECS, Makaton or Autism Awareness (preferred)
