JOB TITLE: IT Tech

THE ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Mana Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and innovative IT Technician for one of their growing and highly successful schools.
The role:

To assist in the provision of technical support to College IT users and with the installation and maintenance of IT software and hardware.

* To participate in the operation of the IT HELPDESK, to include logging of all
requests and the provision of first line support
* To assist with the installation and support of software and hardware
* To assist with routine maintenance, to include the cleaning of IT equipment
* To comply with all appropriate internal procedures when installing or servicing equipment
* To offer help and guidance to College IT users
* To contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation processes to
optimise the continuity and availability of IT services
* To contribute to the arrangements for monitoring the effectiveness of IT Service provision
* To take responsibility for defined areas of IT Services support, as agreed with
the IT Services Manage

This is an immediate start date, and will be required Monday to Friday through until the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and fully IT conversant Technician with a can do attitude and a patient manner you will be working with mixed levels of ability therefore you need to be able to plan accordingly. The suitable candidate will also need to be proactive, adaptable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
