HLTA - Secondary to Support with Maths Groups
The School are looking for someone to work alongside the teacher to assist with pupils on a one to one basis or within small groups. The role will be predominantly to support with maths therefore you need to have a good knowledge of Maths and the UK Curriculum .
Your role is to develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude.
You will assess and record progress. Working with the classroom teacher your main objective is to support the pupils so that they have a good all round classroom experience.
You will need to have a HLTA qualification or a Teaching Assistant qualification.
