English Teacher
JOB SUMMARY:
Mana Education is working with a school an upper school in North Northamptonshire to help them find an experience English Teacher to cover a long term position until December 2013 starting immediately. The School are ideally looking for someone that trained to Teach English with a strong Teaching background and experience of teaching A-level.
THE SCHOOL:
The School is an Upper school located in a beautiful town North of Northamptonshire. The school serves a large rural catchment area; the school draws its students from the two main local towns, as well as a number of local villages.
They are passionate about learning, achievement and providing a wide range of experiences for young people to prepare them for the world beyond school.
The school accepts student into Year 9 offering a large and varied curriculum. Both GCSE and BTEC courses are offered in Years 10 and 11 as well as good range of vocational courses delivered in association with local colleges.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING RELEVANT TO THE JOB
*Good understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning.
*Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum
*Excellent subject knowledge

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or similar qualifications, Teaching Experience in the UK of at least 6 months. Experience and Newly Qualified.
