Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator required for a 1 day per week contract!!

Mana Education are looking to hire a special educational needs co-ordinator (SENco) to work in one of our Schools in Peterborough on a part-time basis one day per week.

The SENco will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the Schools SEN policy, co-ordinating provision for children with SEN, supporting the identification of children with SEN, creating education health care plans (EHCP) and parent, independent provider, outside agencies and educational psychologist liaison.

The school have stressed that they are looking for candidates who posses special educational needs experience as well as an excellent knowledge of EHCP. Furthermore the school are looking for candidates with experience spanning at least a year working within a UK school. Candidates without such experience will not be considered for the role but may be considered for other roles with Mana.
