ICT Teacher

JOB SUMMARY:
Mana Education is working with a school in Wellingborough to help them find an exceptional ICT Teacher for Easter 2014. The School are ideally looking for someone that trained to Teach ICT and has experience of teaching ICT at GCSE and or A-level. The school are looking for a confident and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join their dynamic ICT department and teach full time on a permanent basis.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING RELEVANT TO THE JOB
*Good understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning.
*Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum
*Excellent subject knowledge
*Be committed to the education of every child and be able to drive up standards.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Duties include,
*To play a significant role in the quality of provision for teaching and learning
*To develop Raising Achievement Plans
*To work alongside Faculty staff to support individuals transition from "needs improvement" to "good" or from "good" to "outstanding" - as directed by Head of faculty.
*Support QA protocols via review of schemes of work/book scrutiny to identify areas of development.
*Participate in learning walks across the faculty
