JOB TITLE: School Data Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Three main parts to the role - Data Manager of a SIMS System, the creation, maintenance and review of the School timetable, and to be an Exam Officer

LOCATION: West Northamptonshire
SALARY: £21,000
CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary (three months at least)
HOURS: 37 hours a week.
MUST HAVES: Experience of working in a School and managing and processing data using SIMS, and also timetable scheduling. Ideally you will also have experience as an Examination Officer.

The COMPANY
Our client is an Academy in West Northamptonshire who embrace improvement of standards, personalised learning, embedding an inclusive culture and ensuring partnership working within its community.

The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to do the following data:
DATA
*Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Academy Management SIMS Information System.
*Input and manage the student report data in SIMS.
*Document and maintain user instructions and manuals
*Create and produce the internal and external statistical reports
*Develop and maintain data protocols, manage historic archiving, ensure QAN codes provide reliable return information for the census returns

EXAMS
*Ensure that students are entered correctly for external exams
*Timetable internal exams, book rooms, liaise with the site staff to ensure that examination rooms are set up correctly, organise a team of invigilators, start and supervise exams.
*To organise a team of invigilators to ensure that pupil's receive appropriate supervision during examinations.
*Process and prepare the examination results including the results notifications for students and analysis for the Senior Leadership Team.

TIMETABLE
*Create and maintain the school curriculum timetable
*Analyse, identify and report potential capacity issues and present solutions


The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong Timetable, Data and Exams Officer
with the following experience:
*Work in a School and managing and processing data using SIMS
*Timetable scheduling
*Exam Officer experience
*You will be subject to CRB/DBS clearance. If you do not have an up to date one, you will not be able to start until the Academy arrange one.
