💰 Salary: MPS to UPS - £31,650 to £49,084 per annum (depending on experience)

Mana Education is delighted to be supporting a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Peterborough, as they seek a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join their team in September. This is an exciting permanent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
🏫 About the School:
This welcoming and diverse school caters to students aged 11-18 and is known for its commitment to inclusive education, academic achievement, and whole-child development. With a supportive leadership team, excellent facilities, and a strong ethos of respect and resilience, it's the perfect environment for a SEND Teacher to thrive professionally and personally.
✅ Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, tailored lessons for pupils with SEND (mild to moderate learning needs).
Develop and adapt individualised education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and subject teachers to ensure inclusive access to the curriculum.
Build positive, trusting relationships with students and their families.
Maintain a safe, engaging, and structured classroom environment.
👤 Ideal Candidate:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or substantial experience teaching students with SEND in UK schools.
Strong understanding of a variety of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
Ability to differentiate effectively and implement EHCPs.
A patient, resilient, and empathetic teaching style.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
