💷 Salary: £31,650 to £57,363 per annum (based on role, experience and pay scale)

This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious and enthusiastic Maths Teacher or a current classroom practitioner ready to take the next step as Assistant Head of Maths. The role offers a great balance of teaching and leadership responsibilities within a supportive and driven team.

🔍 What You'll Be Doing:

Teach Maths to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Help lead curriculum development and innovation within the department

Differentiate instruction to cater for a wide range of learning needs

Contribute to raising achievement through high-quality teaching and mentoring

Be an active part of departmental planning and school-wide strategies

✅ What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching experience

Ability to teach Mathematics confidently across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 for Assistant Head of Maths role)

Experience or ambition to lead and support colleagues as part of a middle leadership team

Excellent subject knowledge, classroom presence, and communication skills

Strong ICT skills and a passion for evidence-based teaching methods

A team player who is adaptable, organised, and proactive
