Type: Full time, contract from February to October half term (maternity cover)
Salary: UK Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)

We are recruiting for one of our lovely schools in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Rated Good by Ofsted, they have high standards and work closely with parents to ensure their expected high standards are met in this thriving school. They have a dedicated forward-thinking team and are highly respected by the local community.

This is a long term position and therefore the responsibilities will mirror that of a Teacher and therefore will be required to:

- Conduct and deliver well-structured lessons to assigned classes in accordance with the school's plans, the National Curriculum, and designated schemes of work.

- Prepare suitable teaching materials and establish an organized classroom environment that fosters purposeful learning and encourages independent learning skills.

- Evaluate, monitor, record, and communicate the learning needs, progress, and achievements of designated pupils, utilising assessments accurately and productively.

- Tailor teaching approaches to address the strengths and needs of individual pupils, setting and maintaining high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge them.

- Facilitate positive progress and outcomes for pupils while demonstrating a solid understanding of the subject matter and curriculum.

- Participate in the coordination of activities related to preparing pupils for internal and statutory assessments, including moderation processes.

- Coordinate educational visits and welcome relevant visitors to enhance ongoing learning experiences.

- Maintain comprehensive records of progress and performance, including annotated samples of student work.

- Complete necessary documentation, such as those required for the transition to secondary education in Year 6.
