Why Choose Mana Education?

Choosing an education agency is about more than finding your next booking. You want someone who listens, explains the role clearly and understands what makes a school right for you.

Mana Education has specialised in education recruitment since 2009. We help teachers and support staff find flexible supply work, longer assignments and permanent positions across the East Midlands and East Anglia.

We start with what matters to you

Perhaps you want to work closer to home, fit school work around family commitments or find a setting where your experience will make a difference.

We take time to understand your preferred roles, age groups, subjects and working days. Tell us about your travel limits and the environments where you feel most confident, so we can focus on suitable opportunities.

Your preferences can change, too. Keep us updated and we can adjust your search.

Clear information about your work and pay

Before you accept an assignment, you should understand the role, responsibilities and agreed rate. Your consultant will talk through the details and help with questions about the booking.

  • Weekly pay: supply staff are paid weekly, a week in hand.
  • Assignment-specific rates: pay reflects the role, school, experience and responsibilities.
  • Long-term teaching: we aim to pay to scale from day one wherever possible.
  • Clear payment arrangements: we explain how you will be paid before you start.

Our advertised daily pay ranges are shown below. Rates depend on the role, school, experience and responsibilities; your consultant will confirm the rate and payment arrangements for each assignment.

Supply staff are paid weekly, a week in hand. For long-term teaching assignments, we aim to pay to scale from day one wherever possible. Permanent salaries are confirmed for the individual vacancy.

Flexibility for different stages of your career

Whether you are starting out, returning to education or looking for a change, there are different ways to work with Mana:

  • Day-to-day supply for teachers and support staff who want to share their availability week by week.
  • Short-term cover for opportunities to experience different schools.
  • Long-term and maternity assignments for greater continuity with pupils and colleagues.
  • Permanent roles for your next career move.

We recruit across primary, secondary and SEN settings, including teaching, teaching assistant, HLTA and cover supervisor roles. Availability depends on school requirements and your experience.

People you can speak to

A job description cannot answer every question. You may want to discuss classroom expectations, the journey to school or whether an assignment suits your experience.

Our consultants are here to talk through opportunities and remain a point of contact during your placement. If something needs attention, get in touch so we can help address it.

Let’s talk about your next step

You do not need to have every detail worked out before contacting us. Whether you are ready to apply or simply exploring your options, tell us what you are looking for.

We welcome enquiries from applicants with QTS, an equivalent recognised teaching qualification or relevant experience in UK schools. Requirements vary by role, and all placements are subject to the necessary recruitment and safeguarding checks.
