English and Media Studies Teacher
English, English Language & Literature and Media Studies are all taught in the school. The school offer KS3, KS4 and KS5. The sixth form at the school offers fantastic opportunities for our students to study and further their skills. They offer a range of range of academic and practical courses at Level 3 which lead to AS, A Level or BTEC qualifications.
THE SCHOOL:
The school is an 11-19 comprehensive Catholic school located in Northampton and serves three Catholic feeder schools along with many non-Catholic schools within the Northampton area. The school is at the beginning of a journey, building on positive outcomes for the students and encouraging them to develop to be the best they can be.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING RELEVANT TO THE JOB
*Good understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning.
*Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum.
*Excellent subject knowledge.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or similar qualifications, Teaching Experience in the UK of at least 6 months. Experience and Newly Qualified.
