Are you a passionate Design & Technology Teacher with a specialism in Food Technology?

Mana Education is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Kettering that is seeking a DT Teacher (Food Technology & Resistant Materials) to join their team from 1st May until the end of the summer term, with the possibility of the role continuing beyond this.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Food Technology lessons, with some teaching in Product Design / Resistant Materials, within a supportive and well-equipped department.

🌈 The Role:

- As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to secondary school students.
- Teach some lessons in Product Design / Resistant Materials.
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and organised practical learning environment.

Inspire students to develop creativity, practical skills and confidence within Design & Technology.

🎓 About You:

We welcome applications from teachers who:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
- Have the ability to deliver some lessons in Product Design or Resistant Materials.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Are enthusiastic about engaging students in practical learning.
