🎨 Art and Design Technology Technician
📍 Location: Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, Northampton
📅 Contract Type: Temporary, on-going roles
💷 Salary: £100 to £110 per day (depending on school)

Are you passionate about art, creativity and supporting young minds? We are working with vibrant secondary schools across Northamptonshire, known for its strong arts ethos and inclusive community. We have on-going requirements for an Art and DT Technician to join our team. Variety of schools across Northants.

🔍 What You'll Be Doing:

Support the preparation and organisation of materials and tools for Art and DT lessons

Maintain and manage art and workshop equipment safely and efficiently

Assist in setting up displays of students' work throughout the schools

Support teachers and students during practical lessons

Monitor and maintain stock levels and order supplies when needed

Ensure health and safety protocols are followed in all practical areas

✅ What We're Looking For:

Practical knowledge of Art and/or Design Technology tools and materials

Organised, reliable, and able to work independently

A good understanding of health and safety regulations

Previous experience in a similar role or a background in art, design or a technical field is desirable

A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine interest in education and creativity
