JOB SUMMARY:
Mana Education is working with a school in Daventry to help them find Geography Teacher who will cover maternity leave

The academy is ideally looking for someone that trained to teach Geography, The academy is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their dynamic Geography department and teach full time with the view for the position to go permanent.

*Good understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning.
*Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum
*Excellent subject knowledge
*Be committed to the education of every child and be able to drive up standards.
*Be energetic, creative and positive.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Duties include:
*To play a significant role in the quality of provision for teaching and learning
*To develop Raising Achievement Plans
*Support QA protocols via review of schemes of work/book scrutiny to identify areas of development.
*Participate in learning walks across the faculty
