Science Teacher
Mana Education is currently seeking qualified (QTS) Science Teachers to meet the increasing demands of a GOOD School in Lincolnshire.
One of our schools in Lincolnshire has requested a Science Specialists' to start in September 2015 on a Long Term basis, where they will be required to teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
We are looking to recruit Teachers with extensive knowledge of the National Curriculum, both experienced teachers and NQT's are welcome to apply. There is the possibility that the post may be extended and become a Permanent role -as ideally the School is looking for a new Science Teacher from September 2015 as well. The school is also will to accept an exceptional NQT and will fully support them through their Induction Year.

The post arises as a consequence of the School's expansion.
The Department is a cohesive team of able and committed professionals who enjoy their work and take a collaborative and collegiate approach. They are housed in a new (2004) purpose-built suite of seven spacious classrooms, with each full-time teacher having their own classroom. For a teacher who is enthusiastic about their subject and wishes to develop their pedagogy with keen, well-disciplined students this is a fantastic opportunity.
Science is a very popular subject at A Level, where we offer 3 single Science sets and an entirely separate Further Science set in both Years 12 & 13. This is given the full timetable time for two A levels. This year the Year 12 FM set numbers 16 students.
Mana Education requirements:
*QTS or a Degree with a strong curriculum based teaching experience, Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 5.
*Experience of Edexcel Syllabus would be advantage
*Good classroom control / behaviour management techniques.
*A creative and engaging teaching ability.
*An enthusiastic, committed and passionate educator.
