TEACHER OF BUSINESS STUDIES
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an outstanding Academy as a Business Studies Teacher. The role will involve teaching Business Studies to GCSE and the ability to teach it to A Level would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join this friendly and supportive team, and will suit talented teachers at any stage of their career who possess a true passion for the subject and with a proven track record in achieving good results by inspiring their students.
The role is to start in April for the remainder of this academic year, and may lead to a permanent opportunity for the successful applicant as the position is to be advertised for a September start.

*Good understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning.
*Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum
*Excellent subject knowledge
*Be committed to the education of every child and be able to drive up standards.

*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*To play a significant role in the quality of provision for teaching and learning
*To develop Raising Achievement Plans
*To work alongside Faculty staff to support individuals transition from "needs improvement" to "good" or from "good" to "outstanding" - as directed by Head of faculty.
*Support QA protocols via review of schemes of work/book scrutiny to identify areas of development.
*Participate in learning walks across the faculty

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or similar qualifications, Teaching Experience in the UK of at least 6 months. Experience and Newly Qualified.
