Mana Education is currently recruiting qualified Teachers with experience or a strong desire to work with pupils with Special Educational Needs resulting from profound or multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

Our client is a special school and children's home for disabled children and young people aged between 6 and 19 years. The school caters for children as both residential and day students and was rated by Ofsted as Outstanding in 2013.

You need to be energetic, enthusiastic, open minded, positive, calm natured, considerate, patient and must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. You'll also need to be able to think for yourself, use your initiative and have a passion for working with challenging children.

Experience of working with children with disabilities would be highly desirable as well as a detailed knowledge of curriculum issues relating to SEN.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or similar qualifications, Teaching Experience in the UK of at least 6 months. Experience and Newly Qualified.
