Teaching Assistant
The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to support pupils with Behavioural and Emotional difficulties. The pupil requires 1:1 support full time Monday to Friday. You will work closely with the class teacher to implement IEPs and to liaise with the school SENCO on pupils development. You will need to have broad experience of working with similar pupils in a SEN or mainstream education setting and have the compassion to support and nurture each pupil.
To be considered for this Teaching Assistant post you will:
- Have a minimum of 6 months reference able experience of supporting SEN/ASD/EBD pupils in the last 2 years
- Hold Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Have an ability to work as part of a team coordinating the care of a pupil (including class teacher, parents and outside agencies
- Have the ability to implement and contribute to IEPs
-Team Teach qualification is very desirable
For this client we are always seeking Teachers/Teaching Assistants to join alternative provisions for our centres across Lincolnshire. These schools aim to reintegrate those pupils who are not in mainstream education by using alternative techniques as well as following the national curriculum.
Our schools are looking for people who can use nurturing skills in order to aid these pupils with their development of their learning and their behaviour.
