They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a large, friendly team in their Science Department. With a wealth of experienced and highly motivated staff including 3 ASTs, they can offer a supportive environment for NQTs or space to grow and develop for colleagues looking to move further in their career. The school is committed to the professional development of our staff and provide successful ITT and NQT mentoring, and in-house leadership development.
As a teacher of Science you will be at the forefront of our curriculum development and our focus on quality teaching. You will work in state-of-the-art classrooms with access to a smartboards across the school.
You will have a good degree in a relevant subject and have, or be working towards, QTS. Our size gives us the flexibility to welcome a teacher of any specialism, but you must be able to teach across all Science subjects at Key Stages and at least two sciences at Key Stage 4. The ability to teach to A Level would be an advantage as we offer all three sciences at Key Stage 5, so the opportunity to teach your specialism may be available for the right candidate.
