Electronics Technician/ Design Engineer
JOB SUMMARY: My Client is looking for a creative Electrical Design technician to support the Research and Development team. This is an exciting and challenging role which will allow you to be creative and challenged.
My Client is an established design consultancy who work with some exciting brands. They design and develop concepts and bring them to prototype development for clients. We are looking for an Electrotonic Research and Development Technician to join team.
The successful candidate will be required to:
*To work as part of a team designing and developing concepts
*Take an electronic prototype design from a concept to prototype production
*Develop and contribute to project planning and budget preparations
*Programme C and C++ for Embedded System Applications
*Android Application Development for Testing
*PCB cost estimates and purchase for manufacturing quotes
*Fit, remove and rework through hole and surface mount components on prototype PCB assemblies.
*Monitor small stock of prototyping components and materials in the electronics lab.
Our client is looking for the following experience:
*Good knowledge of Electronics
*Knowledge of Programming in C, C++
*Experience of PCB layout
*Can-do attitude - ability to develop product/solutions from drawings, and 'get on with it'
*Strong interest in wide range of creative product design
