Start: October 2014

Hours: Monday -Friday 40 hours per week (Permanent)

Pay scale: £16,432.00 - £18,117.00 per annum (Grade 1-Grade 5) depending on previous experience

Location: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire

We are currently looking for a diverse tutor who will play a vital role in helping achieve contractual KPIs and any other centre/personal targets, whilst focusing on the delivery of high quality training and learner journey.
Ideally, you will have previous tutor experience. This experience would preferably come from working our target groups which is NEET and/or young people with behaviour problems, but we will consider other candidates who can clearly demonstrate the appropriate skills and attributes.
Relevant teaching or adult learning support qualifications such as PTLLS or A1 award (D32/33) or above would be beneficial, but training will be given and all tutors are actively encouraged to take the appropriate qualifications for the role. For this role you will need to be well organised, confident, have a great personality and the ability to communicate effectively with learners, staff and partner organisations. You will be an excellent team player, participating in local team meetings and other training events.
MAIN DUTIES
*Support and motivate learners to achieve EFA outputs
*Deliver relevant qualifications to learners aged 14-19 including CoPE, BTEC and AIM Awards from entry level up to Level 2, Functional skills in English, Maths and ICT and GCSE English alternative curriculum
*Enrol and induct learners
*Provide interactive group led sessions
*To ensure all learner files are up to date with relevant documentation, ensuring all agreements and paperwork is in line with company and audit requirements
*Enter precise and concise tutor notes onto system and individual learner progress reviews
*Invigilating exams
*Advise and progress learners onto further learning or employment.
*Ensuring attendance at relevant team meetings.
*Enhance own knowledge of courses by undertaking training and previewing courses as required

*Covering tutor support as and when required
*Promote positive relationships with external agencies
