JOB SUMMARY:
Mana Education is working with an academy in Northamptonshire to help them find an ICT Teacher from April until July 2015. They are ideally looking for someone who is passionate about teaching ICT and if possible has experience of teaching computing too. This is a great opportunity for someone who is available immediately, and the successful candidate will be welcome to apply for the permanent role from September 2015.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING RELEVANT TO THE JOB
*Good understanding of current best practice in teaching and learning.
*Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum
*Excellent subject knowledge
*Be committed to the education of every child and be able to drive up standards.
*Be energetic, creative and positive.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Duties include:
*To play a significant role in the quality of provision for teaching and learning
*To develop Raising Achievement Plans
*To work alongside Faculty staff to support individuals transition from "needs improvement" to "good" or from "good" to "outstanding" - as directed by Head of faculty.
*Support QA protocols via review of schemes of work/book scrutiny to identify areas of development.
*Participate in learning walks across the faculty
